China has launched the world’s first 10G broadband network, delivering speeds up to 9.8 Gbps and latency as low as 3 ms. Developed in Xiong’an with Huawei and China Unicom, the network uses advanced 50G-PON technology and supports futuristic smart city applications. Shanghai also plans full 10G coverage by 2026.
